Children aged 6 and up are invited to spend the day with Life Lab Garden Education staff while their parents attend the UCSC Farm 50th Anniversary Events
Description
While you are at UCSC Farm 50th Anniversary Events have your child explore the UCSC Farm with Life Lab. Our garden educators will run a one day version of our Wildlands and Watering Cans Day Camp Saturday, July 29th from 9:30 to 4:00 at the Life Lab Garden Classroom on the UCSC Farm.
For children 6 years of age and older.

Our day will look like this:
Drop off at UCSC Farm by 9:30
- Start the day with "Farm Chores" making strawberry popsicles from scratch, checking the weather, caring for the hens, and taking a farm tour "Farm Report" walk.
- Garden harvest and snack making
- Lunch (pack a refillable waterbottle and lunch)
- Observational bee hive - honey taste test - herbal salve making
- Farm games and crafts
- Popsicle story time
- Bay tree explore
Pick up at UCSC Farm at 4:00
Confirmation materials and release forms will be sent prior to event.
Since 1979 Life Lab has been supporting schools and educators to bring learning to life in a garden. Life Lab is unique non-profit organization that has partnered with UCSC since the late 80's.
